The Board of Magalies Water is the accounting authority of the organisation in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), the Chief Executive Officer is the Accounting Officer and the Head of Finance is the Chief Financial Officer. The Board of Magalies Water comprises 10 members appointed by the Minister of Water Affairs and Forestry. The Chief Executive Officer is the 11th member of the Board who sits and operates in an ex officio capacity. Apart from the Chief Executive Officer, all Board members are non-executive members.
