Whooshh EverClean Program Services
What is WEP? The Whooshh EverClean Program (WEP) is a Whooshh tube replacement program designed to ensure that the Whooshh Transport Conduit (WTC), the proprietary transport tube component of the Whooshh Transport System, always delivers to the highest standards possible. This program is your assurance that durability and/or replacement cost is never an issue. You benefit from knowing that we will deliver a replacement Whooshh tube for your installed WTC at least once per year or and more often, if needed—even if there is no identified problem with the system.
This program addresses:
- Any abnormal wear and tear to the WTC occurring during normal use;
- Any hygiene issue identified within the WTC during routine cleaning or testing;
- Any damage to, or break in, the WTC, that could have an impact on the ability of the WTC to transport product.**
Under the WEP, we will repair or replace the WTC at least once per year at no additional cost . Regardless of whether the system is used for food processing, or whether it is being used in harsh environmental or sensitive conditions, we make sure the WTC is performing as designed—thereby reducing your risk and increasing the benefit to your operation.
How does the program work? When you purchase a Whooshh Transport System, you will receive a two-part quote. Part 1 is a traditional equipment purchase, including all of the system hardware used to power and support the WTC pursuant for the specified application. Part 2 is the purchase of a Whooshh EverClean Program, suited for the application.
Under the program, you lease a custom-sized WTC fitted for the length of the installation and the size range of the fish, fruit or other object to be transported. You will not own or take title to the WTC; rather you will lease the WTC for a specified period of time and for a pre-defined price. A typical WEP will span five years with payment due annually. A lease offers your Company the right to use the patented WTC for the purposes designed, pursuant to the standard terms of the lease. The WEP provides many other benefits as well, including the security of knowing that if you ever experience a problem with the WTC during normal use, it will be replaced without your ever having to make an unplanned capital purchase.
What are the financial benefits? There are several ways that the WEP can lower risk and reduce transaction costs.
First, we are able to quote lower up-front prices, while giving you the benefit of defined and limited operation and maintenance costs. Because annual WEP pricing is locked in, there are no unpleasant budget surprises. Regardless of how much product you are moving, the WTC will always be in top form and you will always know the cost of operating and maintaining the system.
Second, we give you a way to end your WEP obligation, no questions asked. Any time prior to the delivery of a replacement WTC or expiration of the first six months, simply give us notice along with a brief explanation for the reason, and we will contact you and provide instructions on how to remove the used WTC(s) and ship it back to us. As soon as it is removed, we will cancel your future WEP obligations, no questions asked.
Third, we recognize that market conditions, locations and/or plant layouts change often. The WEP offers you the flexibility to make changes as needed, without your having to throw away or purchase an entirely new system. In addition, this program offers you the flexibility of changing the length of the WTC in your plant if layout changes are needed. Modifications specified in the WEP can be revised under the terms of the WEP program*.
Finally, by isolating operation and maintenance costs, it is easy to calculate your return on investment (ROI). For example, if the WTC application reduces labor costs for both transport and cleaning by one or two people, a ROI can often be achieved in months rather than years. By measuring more efficient and consistent throughput, higher quality product, and less post-harvest waste (higher yield), the numbers become very attractive indeed. And when also considering the lower energy consumption, the reduced use of water for transport, the reduced costs for disposal of waste water, and the reduced need for cleaning agents within the closed system, the financial benefits of an annual WEP lease payment compared to the traditional operation and maintenance costs typically reveal substantial savings and a compelling ROI.
