When it comes to disease, there is a great similarity between humans and plants - they both lose heat at an accelerated rate when sick. While the tiny heat loss is invisible when scouting or initially using NDVI, it is visible with Thermal imaging. Plant stress is identifiable weeks in advance. Correlating our Thermal images with additional sensor information such as precipitation and weather helps identify elevated risk areas for infestations before yield is ever impacted.
