Our new Caster robot in combination with a UVC germicidal lamp has found a practical use as a disinfection solution called Modis. The main benefit of a germicidal lamp on a robotic chassis is that the lamp's range becomes movable, which reduces the disinfection time and the amount of electrical energy. The UVC lamp is equipped with a 360° camera, which, thanks to artificial intelligence, recognizes a person and switches off the radiation in his or her presence.
