Members are grouped into nine regional constituencies: Africa, East Asia, Eastern and Central Europe, Latin America, North America, Oceania, South Asia, West Asia and Western and Central Europe.

IFA`s Board

The IFA Board of Directors is responsible for the management of the Association`s business, for which purpose it may exercise all the powers of the Association. The number of Board seats per region is determined according to a calculation based on that region`s share of global fertilizer production, consumption and of total IFA Membership fees.

IFA`s Executive Board

The Executive Board is a subset of the wider Board of Directors; its role is to ensure that the decisions taken by the Board of Directors are enacted, liaise with the Secretariat, ensure the continuity of the Association in its objectives, foster consensus on industry-wide issues and safeguard the rights of each Member to representation.
