WeatherSolve wind fences are the world’s largest and most durable fence systems. Features include:

· Size: The smallest control systems are simply wind fence extensions to the sides of a hopper, or a cage around a transfer point. The next size up is a few 10’s of meters long and block off key wind (and dust) acceleration zones. The largest are kilometers long and completely surround troublesome stockpiles. The poles are able to be 30 m (100 ft) apart and over 30 m (100 ft) high

• Flexible: Able to accommodate a wide range of equipment access requirements. All of our fences are custom designed to suite the individual needs of the customer. Because of poles can be widely spaced up to 30m We are able to accommodate conveyors or any other equipment, doorways for people or vehicles, gates and we also have retractable systems for areas requiring regular access, which can be manual or automated.

• Convenient: Can be constructed with minimal operational disruption. This is achieved because our systems have few poles or other obstructions. They can also easily be built over conveyors and small buildings without affecting those structures.

• Portable: For sites such as gravel crushing or sifting of small stockpiles with portable conveyors, we have a range of portable (towable) wind fences typically 30ft high.

• Adaptable: Can be adapted to suit available construction materials and equipment. The fences are custom designed to match your requirements, both structurally and aerodynamically.

• Economics: Installing a wind fence is good for the environment, but it’s good for the bottom line too. For example, ore dust assays many times higher than ROM material so it makes economic sense to keep it on the pile.

· Works well with others: We are able to optimize agglomeration systems such as fog. We do this by lowering the wind speeds allowing time for the agglomeration agent to bind with the dust (and not get blown away) and settle back down.

· WeatherSolve has created a specialized clip for the overload release system. Poles and foundations represent the most significant portion of the structural cost; the WeatherSolve release system provides security in extreme storms. Extensively tested in the 200 mph winds of Hurricane Andrew and many hurricanes since then, WeatherSolve Structures allow fabric to be released from the bottom of panels and later re-clipped into place. Fabric always stays connected at the top of each panel so it never becomes a safety hazard.
