UAB Linas ir Viza – the first company of our Group, was established. The company started its business with the export of the oilseed rape to Western Europe. The Group has been growing naturally and through acquisitions, engaging in still new activities. Currently, AB Linas Agro Group controls 34 subsidiariess in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Denmark, having 2,250 employees. As of the 17th of February 2010, AB Linas Agro Group has its primary listing on Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange. The core products we produce and sell are grain, oilseed, raw feedstuffs, milk, poultry and its products. We are one of the largest exporters of Lithuanian grain, in Lithuania and Latvia we have our own network of modern grain storage facilities. We are the largest poultry producer in Latvia and a major milk producer in Lithuania.
We are one of the leaders in Lithuania in supplying production to farmers – certified seeds, fertilisers, plant protection products and agricultural machinery. We also have a seed processing plant.
We are Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians and Danes, who are working in different fields.
We are traders, workers, farmers, investors and, sometimes – inventors.
Our team comprises of over 2,100 people and we aim to render them with professional development possibilities in the organization of high internal culture.

The group owns seven agricultural companies, located in fertile lands of Lithuania – Panevėžys district Aukštadvario ŽŪB and Žibartonių ŽŪB, Kėdainiai district Labūnavos ŽŪB, Šakiai district Lukšių ŽŪB, Biržai district Medeikių ŽŪB, Užupės ŽŪB and Sidabravo ŽŪB.
Manufacturing of agricultural products is a solid field of business and knowledge management is the determinant that guarantees company competitiveness. Having acquired shares of several farming companies, Linas Agro has accrued their management and consultancy in one hands.
UAB Linas Agro Konsultacijos was founded in 2003 to provide management and consulting services for farming companies in the fields of crop growing, animal husbandry, accounting, etc., and prepare modernization projects.
The total turnover of the group of agricultural companies over the year ended June 30, 2013 grew from LTL 47 million to LTL 80 million.
The average yield of winter wheat in the companies managed by the Group in 2012 amounted to 7.2 t/ha (Lithuanian average yield was 5.17 t/ha), yield of spring wheat amounted to 5.7 t/ha (Lithuanian average was 3.89 t/ha), winter oilseed rape – 4.77 t/ha (Lithuanian average was 3.4 t/ha), spring barley - 6 t/ha (Lithuanian average was 3.38 t/ha).
The Group has been managing the largest Latvian producer of poultry AS Putnu Fabrika Kekava since 2013 and also SIA Broileks, SIA Cerova, SIA Lielzeltini since 2014.
AS Putnu Fabrika Kekava, SIA Broileks, SIA Cerova and SIA Lielzeltini are companies operating in poultry industry. Their core activity is meat poultry and broilers breeding. The companies grew about 16.5 million of broilers and produced more than 26 thousand tons of poultry and its products in total in 2013.
The activity of AS Putnu Fabrika Kekava (PFK) encompasses the entire cycle of production. It produces and sells chicken meat and its products. The revenue of the company was 15 % higher in 2013 than in 2012 and totalled EUR 38 million.
SIA Lielzeltini produces chicken meat and a range of processed chicken meat products, as well as combined feed; its sales revenue was 24 % higher in 2013 than in 2012 and totalled EUR 26 million.
The core activity of SIA Cerova is incubation of hatching eggs and sale of day-old chicks. The sales revenue of the company increased by 24 % and amounted to EUR 2.5 million in 2013.
SIA Broileks is engaged in growing and sale of live chicken, its revenue reached EUR 1.2 million in 2013 (the same as in 2012).
With all these companies operating together, the vertical integration is implemented in poultry production. Moreover, other companies of the group supply grain and other raw materials for the production of feed for poultry yards.
Export forms about 20–25 percent of production, export is made to the Baltic and Scandinavian countries.
The companies AS Putnu Fabrika Kekava and SIA Lielzeltini have chains of specialised stores.
The objective of the Group is to sell the products of both companies in all Baltic countries and to increase export to Scandinavia and West Europe.
