AgCode, Inc.

Launched in 2002, AgCode was founded by Minnesota farmer Dion Harste. He wanted to create a solution for traceability in agriculture with a user-friendly interface, and took his initial concept to the World Ag Expo in 2003. There he met his first specialty crop customer: E. & J. Gallo Winery. Dion’s initial solution evolved to serve Gallo’s business, and other wineries and growers took notice. In 2009, AgCode diversified our solutions to work for an array of specialty crops and continued to develop features based on the specific needs of our customers. As our customers grew, so did we. By 2018, Forbes named us one of the Top 25 Most Innovative AgTech Companies, and as of 2019, we are lucky enough to serve seven of the United State’s top 10 producing wineries. Our technology and advisors are essential to organizations around the world, serving all high-value specialty crops.
