A hose or pipe is led from above to the bottom of the glass, where the water flows out. It works like a Zuger glass as a self-sorter. Here, too, the perished eggs, since they are specifically lighter, are usually washed out over the upper edge of the glass. The same thing happens with the brood if they do not attach themselves to the glass wall as with pike.
