AMS - Brown Soil Moisture Probe
The Brown Moisture Probe allows you to determine moisture depth quickly and easily. Agronomists and farmers use it to determine the depth of moisture following irrigation. This 43" Probe has an auger tip and depth markings at 1`, 2`, and 3` from the tip. The Probe is pushed into the soil using the attached 10" Rubber-Gripped Handle. It will easily penetrate saturated soils, but not dry soils. At the end of the push, the probe is twisted and then withdrawn. A small ball on the tip helps retain the sample in the auger flights to allow visual confirmation of the moisture condition of the soil sample. The Brown Moisture Probe is made of unplated carbon steel. Length: 43",
