ANA, by Spacenus GmbH

ANA is a Precision Farming app by Spacenus GmbH. Spacenus was founded in 2015 by two young entrepreneurs Riazuddin Kawsar and Lionel Born, who have the vision of improving precision farming with the use of artificial intelligence and satellite imagery. The journey of developing satellite imagery-based precision farming recommendation began in 2015 with money from our own pockets. In 2017, we named that development ANA (Agricultural Nutrient Assistant) and continued to work on it with the help of European Space Agency (ESA), the German Space Agency (DLR) and our Industry partner K+S. In 2018, the technical feasibility was shown. For four years, ANA was validated with numerous farmers and consultants before being commercially available in 2022.
