Andermatt Canada

Andermatt Canada was founded in 2006 originally as Slyvar Technologies, a production company focused on the Canadian forestry industry. As a leading developer in the identification and production of baculovirus, a form of bioinsecticide that controls a targeted pest, Sylvar created many successful products to monitor and control harmful forest pests. In 2011, with growing success, Sylvar became a member of the global Andermatt Group, a Swiss company founded and owned by Dr. Martin Andermatt and Dr. Isabel Andermatt. As the Canadian and international business continued to strengthen, Sylvar Technologies officially changed its operating name to Andermatt Canada Inc., in 2021. As a respected global company, the Andermatt brand brings more awareness in markets and recognition in developing biological solutions for a healthier environment for all.
