AniCon Labor GmbH

AniCon („Animal Control“) was founded mid 2005 with a total staff of 10 and activities in veterinary diagnostics, food safety and a small scale of avian autogenous vaccines. Focused first on diagnostics for turkey and waterfowl production in Germany, AniCon today serves with a group of more than 30 highly specialized academics and a total staff of 200 not only the poultry and swine, but also started diagnostic for cattle and fish. Besides post-mortems and cultural bacteriology the diagnostic portfolio also covers serology, cultural virology as well as a very broad spectrum of molecular diagnostics including sequencing. Since 2014 AniCon also produces In-Vitro-Diagnostics (IVD) under its own brand Kylt®, namely PCR-kits for use in many labs around the globe.
