Art van Rijn started Artechno Growsystems in the late 80`s as he observed that horticulture was becoming trite and farmers stopped `thinking outside the box`. As a farmer`s son, Art had always lived in a horticultural society, and it was exactly that life experience combined with a burning desire to innovate the way farmers grow that made Artechno successful from the start. During the ongoing quest to revolutionize horticulture, Artechno expanded into multiple fields, adding more and more layers of expertise. From water techniques to water purification, automation, robotics, harvesting, processing, hydroponic growing systems, and automated vertical farming. Our experts think differently and often raise the bar of what is possible.
