Assentoft Silo A/S products

The fish feed industry stores various products in Assentoft Silo tanks and silos. The silos are made from hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, providing excellent corrosion protection and requiring no maintenance. As the silos are bolted on site, the erection period is very short. The robust silo wall is very suitable for aggressive environments - e.g. ports with salty air. Our line of products also includes transport plants for loading and unloading of the silos - designed for heavy-flowing materials. Incl. of machine deck on top of the silo for maximum protection of the transport plant and filter. The totally sealed plant is secured from moist and any contamination from the surroundings.

Silos for free-flowing materials and approved for storage of foodstuff, e.g. potato protein powder and potato meal - can be supplied in stainless steel (all parts in contact with the stored product are in stainless steel), insulated and cladded with trapezoid sheet. On smaller, all welded steel tanks, foodstuff approved painting can be applied - constituting a much cheaper alternative to stainless steel tanks or stainless steel sheets. Unloading through a sweep arm auger, fitted on to the flat, stainless steel floor of the silo. 

The combined heat and power plants save expensive CO2 taxes by adding biomass to the fuels. We are able to meet the demand for silo storage of various types of biomasses, e.g. meat and bone meal and mixed products from e.g. wood chips, olive residues and sunflower seeds.
