ATS started life as a tree surgery company 40 years ago employing teams of tree surgeons (over 60 around the time of the hurricane) working around the Sussex area. After a short time it became apparent an on site mechanic was needed to keep the fleet of saws in good condition, working from a site cabin this grew into repairing and servicing saws for other people until it got to a point when a small shop and service department was set up. Over time this grew to becoming a Stihl main dealer selling and servicing new Stihl saws, not long after that more staff were employed and the garden machinery part of the business came along taking on the Honda lawn and garden dealership.
