When properly composted, cotton burrs are an excellent food source for the beneficial soil organisms that help to make nutrients available to plants, aerate the soil, and help to keep harmful organisms and diseases in check. Cotton Burr Compost has excellent moisture-retention characteristics and is prized for its ability to break up tight clay soils. Regular cotton burr compost helps to neutralize soil pH, and if additional acidification is needed, our acidified products contain sulfur, the longest lasting elemental acidifier.

Nature`s Blend with Alfalfa & Humate is a fined screened product, making it ideal for existing lawn and garden applications. It provides early germination and deep rooting in most turf types and provides significant protection from temperature and moisture extremes. Nature`s Blend and Alfalfa & Humate may also help to prevent and correct certain fungal diseases and thatch in turf. Back to Nature Rose Bed Amendment and Flower Bed Conditioner are a balanced blend of composted cotton burrs and composted cattle manure with feather meal, cottonseed meal, alfalfa meal, and sulfur. They were formulated especially for roses and flowers. Rose Bed Amendment and Flower Bed Conditioner are screened to a maximum particle size of 1/4 inch, making them perfect for bed preparation and top-dressing. The formulation of cotton burr compost and composted cattle manure adds organic matter to the soil, while feeding the beneficial soil organisms. 1.5 CU. FT. BAG. Our Premium Potting Mix is an outstanding growing medium that is fortified with Back to Nature`s Cotton Burr Compost. This creates an ideal environment in your containers to grow strong, healthy plants and keep them green for the entire season. It retains moisture well, while still allowing for optimal drainage. Ingredients: Aged Forest Products, Composted Cotton Burrs, Peat Moss, Perlite.
