Boyden & Perron, Inc.

Boyden & Perron Garage, Inc. was founded in 1956 by Ted Boyden and Ed Perron to provide reliable automotive repairs and sell gasoline. Together they earned a reputation for being good mechanics who had honesty and integrity in their repair business. During the 1950``s, the new modern convenience of motorized `power` lawn mowers were becoming popular and replacing the old fashion `reel` mower. So, by 1962 many of Ted & Ed``s customers were asking if they could also repair a power lawn mower. Ed``s two sons, Don (age 10) and Tom (age 8) would work after school repairing any lawn mowers that might have come in that day. Unbeknownst to Ted and Ed, the seed for the present day Boyden & Perron was planted. Over the years there have been many changes. Ted Boyden retired in 1976; Ed continued the business keeping the name of Boyden & Perron.
