But the time for development of information technologies and applications had not yet come. After careful analysis of the market situation at the beginning of 1990, the company focused on the agricultural sector as a strategic one for the development of our country. At the end of 1990, the first deliveries of plant protection products were accomplished, and later in 1991 and 1992 the company developed a complete product portfolio of crop protection products and fertilizers. A rapid development of a distribution network followed, with the opening of offices in Nova Zagora, Karnobat and Burgas in 1992.
This is how BULAGRO was born - one of the few companies in Bulgaria's TOP 100 from the agribusiness sector. A few years later BULOIL was established - the company within the holding with focus on the supply of petroleum products and fuel for the farming business. Since 1996 Bulagro is an importer of high-quality hybrid seeds, which guarantee high yields. Later in the product portfolio of the group were included the buy-back programs for cereal production, and as a strategy for risk management - agricultural insurances.
After careful analysis of the deplorable state of the agricultural park of the country, in 1998 was founded another company from the group - BULAGRO MACHINES - the company responsible for the import, distribution and most importantly - the organization of an efficient and highly professional service of modern agricultural machinery.
