Bye Engineering Ltd

With a dedicated team of experienced employees we cover all the necessary fields required to deal with agricultural machinery repairs and manufacture. These include three mechanical, electrical and hydraulic technicians and four welder/fabricators. Agricultural machinery needs to evolve to keep pace with constant changes and varied techniques of modern day farming. By working closely with our customers in the development of specialised machines we now manufacture a range of machinery including the BE 1700 Bedmixer, BE 410 Potato Crusher and BE 4WD Power Dolly.

A family run company specialising in the development and manufacture of agricultural machinery, maintenance and repair work and all types of welding and fabrication projects.

In 1979, after completing a 5 year apprenticeship in agricultural engineering Trevor Bye founded Bye Engineering with his wife Margaret.

During the early years most of the work was carried out on-site as there was no permanent workshop, then, in 1984 Bye Engineering moved into permanent premises at Brick Kiln Lane, Melton, from where we still trade today. We now have full on-site and workshop facilities allowing us to cover most operations from small breakdowns to large fabrication projects.
