C. Botkin Enterprises Ltd was recently formed after our partners realized how unavailable quality incubation equipment was to Canadians. The initiative was started in part by Clayton Botkin. Clayton brings to the company over 15 years of experience raising and producing birds. Clayton has been involved in a number of organizations for many years, on both a local and national level. He is currently president of the Fraser Valley Poultry Fanciers Association (FVPFA). Clayton has been president of the FVPFA since 2007, and served on its board of directors since 1998, initially as a junior director, then director and now president. As president of the FVPFA, Clayton is involved with many of their community outreach programs and sits on all of the association`s committees.
Clayton is now finished his bachelor's degree in Applied Animal Biology from the University of British Columbia's Vancouver campus. He is also the manager and founder of our Avian Research Center, and continuing his volunteer duties.
C. Botkin Enterprises is active in the community, by supporting organizations like the FVPFA, along with others such as the Prairie Ornamental Pheasant & Waterfowl Association, the Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust, the American Poultry Association and the American Bantam Association. We are very interested in supporting other local organizations typically affiliated with small-scale and hobby bird-keepers. We are also interested in supporting 4-H clubs where they exist within the province of British Columbia, where youth in agriculture are few and far between. We would like to encourage the leaders of these groups to contact us to discuss support opportunities.
