Our mission is to meaningfully impact climate change at scale, by developing gigatonne-scale greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation solutions for global industries and governments that are committed to averting climate disaster and acting for a net zero world starting now. The founders set the initial focus on methane—one of the most potent GHGs—because aggressive methane mitigation is the best way to maximize positive climate impact. Meanwhile, research had shown that up to 90% of enteric methane from cattle—a major source of global methane emissions—can be prevented with tiny amounts of Asparagopsis seaweed. Today, CH4 Global is harnessing the power of Asparagopsis seaweed to combat climate change.
