Established by Helmut Claas in 1999, the Claas-Foundation’s mission is to promote the development of agricultural technology and agriculture worldwide. The annual Helmut Claas Prize is awarded for outstanding project work or research in the fields of agricultural engineering, general engineering and business management. Postgraduate and graduate theses are supported within the framework of project funding. The Claas-Foundation also awards research contracts.
