In 1984, Hans van der Poel founded his agriculture and mechanisation company so as to develop machines for agriculture and horticulture. In 1998, the further development and production of cow brushes also became part of the activities. He soon started a partnership with a Swedish sales company, very successfully manufacturing a dedicated type. In 2010, Hans van der Poel BV burst out of its seams, founding the sister company ComfyCow BV in 2011. ComfyCow is an ISO 9001- 2009 certified company; we attach great importance to the quality of the various products. All cattle brushes are manufactured in-house. Our line is very extensive, with various types of brushes customised to suit the various sectors and animals. In product development, we focus on optimal wellbeing of the animals. These ‘private label’ brushes are customised to customer requirements and manufactured in-house. No less than 98% of our products are exported worldwide.
