The DVORAK - svahove sekacky Ltd. (DVORAK - machine division) was founded on July 1, 2004 by its current owner – Mr. Lubomír Dvořák. The patent protected radio controlled slope mower Spider is the dominant product of the company. Thanks to the revolutionary design of our product we hold a very special position at the municipal equipment market. During the first year from the launch of serial production we have won appreciation and respect of both consumers and specialists throughout Europe, USA and Japan. During the following 10 years we added several new machines to our product portfolio and expanded the sales network to almost 50 countries all over the world.
2003- Introduction of the first Spider ILD01 prototypes at international shows: Ried im Innkreis & Tulln
2004- Distribution agreements signed in UK, Germany, Japan and Spain.
2005- First Spider assembly hall built. Participation at Expo in Louisville, KY, USA
2006- Spider ILD02 introduced. Hydraulic winch added as an accessory to all models. Spider ILD01 wins RED DOT product design award.
2007- First dealer meeting at the Dvořák factory. Slope Care become US distributors. First Spider mowers sold to Australia.
2008- New CNC machines installed in production. New website launched. Spider 3RIDER project started.
2009- Patent protection acquired in USA and Japan. Snow plow introduced. Spider grows despite economic turbulences.
2010- New Spider MINI model introduced at Techagro and GaLaBau shows.
2011- Intensive international Spider demo program launched targeting new potential customers.
2012- Welding robot introduced and Spider 3RIDER first shown in public. Spider proves to be a great mower to work under solar panels.
2013- Spider sales network expanded to almost 50 countries worldwide. Construction of a new factory finished in November.
2014- New factory officially opened. Celebration of 10 years in the market. Company grows over 30 percent p.a. in 3 consecutive years.
Thanks to its high innovative potential the company DVORAK - svahove sekacky Ltd. has been awarded many patents in various fields of engineering. Even the unique drive system of Spider mowers has been awarded a patent in the USA, Japan and the European Patent has been validated in 16 countries. The hydraulic stabilizing winch was patented by the Industrial property office in the Czech Republic. The patents are part-financed from the EU structural funds.
