Empire Welding & Machining Ltd.

Empire Welding and Machining Ltd. was founded by the Esquirol family in 1986 in the city of North Battleford, Saskatchewan and is currently headed by Joseph Esquirol. The Esquirols farmed in the area and felt that their need for mechanical repair and welding services was not being met. Empire Welding and Machining Ltd. was established to address that need. In 1993-94 the company developed a line of agricultural products, land rollers and land packers, sold under the UltraPacker brand name. A complete line of Gauge Wheels for Draper headers was introduced in 2000. Currently Empire Welding and Machining Ltd. is the premier manufacturer of Gauge Wheels for the North American agricultural after-market. Westwards Parts Services Ltd is now the exclusive Canadian and Northern USA distributor for Empire Gauge Wheels and they have experienced sales well in excess of their expectations.
