Our farming device is highly automated in order to minimize the need for labor and to ensure consistent and high quality for the product. Factories deploying our technology are cost-effective due to an automated production process and an advanced bioprocess developed specifically for this type of device (revolving drum) that guarantees a good feed conversion rate. Any alternative protein source must compete against mass-produced poultry or pig meat in human nutrition. In the animal feed market insect protein competes against fish meal and soy protein. Entoprot insect bioreactor = the most efficient and ecological way to produce insect larvae. The system outperforms vertical farming (stacked boxes) and allows inexpensive automation.
