Emilia Romagna has always been a region strongly committed to agriculture and mechanical engineering. In this place, more precisely in Altedo, in Bologna province, Giovanni Fieni started manufacturing agricultural pumps in 1950, taking advantage of his own experience as a flight engineer in the Air Force during the second world war. The development of agricultural automation and the collaboration with his sons led to the idea of designing and constructing fan units for agricultural sprayers that will become the core product for the company. The success of the new product is immediate and obvious during the first participations to the sector trade fairs.
