The main activity of Fishion Breeding, starting point of the Fishion chain, is breeding Claresse. Fishion is part of an international network of fish breeding companies and has used her years of experience in the field to develop innovative breeding technology. 

The dedicated Fishion farmers take care of their African catfish, Tilapia or Claresse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   The well-being of the fish is carefully and continuously monitored. The culture water is of excellent quality and the fish tanks are animal friendly. The fish have access to ample food and are in no way impeded in their natural behaviour. The Fishion farms are equipped with a water purification system that uses a minimal amount of water and energy. With the biological water filtration unit developed by Fishion, biological processes, comparable to those in nature, constantly remove waste products of the fish, purifying the water and making it suitable for reuse. This system meets all the legal food safety and environmental requirements.
