The patented (UK No. 2494459) Forest Master Heavy Duty Manual Hydraulic Duocut Log Splitter uses a lift jack capable of producing a total of 10 ton in force. This will split logs with a length of 51cm*, a diameter of 30cm* vertically and 50cm* horizontally. This log splitter can be used both vertically using foot pedals and horizontally using hand levers.

The Ultimate DuoCut Kindling Axe Base can be used with manual drop weight log splitters, such as the Logosol Smart Splitter, to enable logs to be split from both ends. This increase the efficiency of splitting, making the logs easier to split and making it easier to split knotty logs. The DuoCut Kindling Axe Base can also be used as a kindling blade for easily and safely making kindling. Using the USBB is safer than using an axe. The USBB is simply mounted on any convenient wood base, such as used for the Logosol Smart Splitter, using the four screws supplied. When used with a drop weight log splitter, the base washer and spacer tube are placed over the log splitter mounting pole to stop the blades clashing. The log is placed on the USBB and the splitter used in the normal manner. This kindling axe is also capable of splitting small dry logs (must be dry) up to 10″ in size. Avoid splitting greenwood on this tool.  Simply place the wood on the USBB and hit it with a mallet.
