gaiasafe gmbh was founded in September 1999 to bring the gaiasafe products for water treatment into the market. gaiasafe filters got an award of Science4Life for one of the best product and sales ideas in a german contest in 1999. gaiasafe water treatment products are consisting of two main lines. gaiasafe filters: products and technology for water purification. gaiasafe passive collectors: sorbent containing special papers. gaiasafe filter eliminate heavy metals, metaloids, chlorine and organic pollutants form water. gaiasafe filter can be used for drinking water purification and waste water treatement. Other gaiasafe products are in development.
