Gibbons Engineering Group Ltd.

Back in 1969, friends Roy Templeman and Wilfred Gibbons, with the help of Wilfred`s son Martin, formed T. G. Consultancy, a company specialising in electric motor rewinds and repairs. Based in a workshop in the village of Tollesbury in Essex, the business grew to selling new electric motors, gearboxes and transmission systems and was soon renamed Statorwind. By 1978 the company was known as `Gibbons Electric Motors` and we had further increased our offering to include pumps, electrical contracting and the design of control systems and variable-speed drive panels to customer-specific requirements.
