Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) products

MALTRIN is the registered trademark for maltodextrins and corn syrup solids produced by Grain Processing Corporation (GPC). The production process of MALTRIN^® maltodextrins and corn syrup solids begins with corn starch slurry from the wet milling operation. The starch in water slurry is hydrolyzed with food grade acids and/or enzymes. The hydrolysis is controlled to achieve the desired end point. The resulting syrup is then refined by filtering and carbon treatment prior to spray drying. The spray-dried powder is packaged or agglomerated and packaged.

MALTRIN^® tapioca maltodextrin and tapioca syrup solids (MALTRIN^® T-Series) are the newest addition to GPC’s globally marketed MALTRIN^® line of ingredients. These products are sourced from 100% tapioca, making them Non-GM by origin, and are manufactured with an all-enzyme, demineralized process. MALTRIN^® tapioca maltodextrins and tapioca syrup solids are allergen free and Cronobacter free, which makes them ideal for infant nutrition formulations among numerous other applications. These new tapioca-based products can also help with clean label requirements for many customers.
