Purchase of a program license for HALCO`s WOODSIM, SAWSIM or WOODMAN systems is appropriate when the company plans to conduct ongoing analysis of harvest planning, log supply, mill production, or sawmill design questions. However, successful use of these programs typically requires that a skilled analyst be available, with sufficient time available for learning and applying the software.

When clients purchase a license to use our software themselves, we provide services to assist the client to set up an initial application and stay with the application until it is being successfully used by the client. We provide on-going upgrades and technical support under the terms of a Software Maintenance Agreement.
