HyDevCo develops decentralized green hydrogen projects that are fed with low-quality biomass. The technical installation is based on the newly developed Hynoca technology in the range between 30 and 300 kg of hydrogen per hour, which is tailored to the demand, preferably for the nearby user or customer. The technology guarantees green hydrogen production for 8,000 hours per year. In addition to hydrogen, the installation produces carbon in the form of biochar that can be used after possible post-processing as a soil improver, raw material for bio-composite or as active carbon for purification processes, for example. The process is carbon negative, avoiding more than 50 CO 2 emissions than if the low-grade biomass had decayed by nature. HyDevCo works on an exclusive basis with regard to technology with Haffner Energie, the developer of the Hynoca technology, and Haffner was also involved as one of the technology suppliers in the aforementioned biomass plant.
