We are a pioneer in fresh livestock feed, while our parent company delivers commercial-scale human food production. We’re a division of CubicFarm® Systems, the leader in local chain farming, and founded by farmers. Founded in 2015, the company’s mission is to create technology to successfully feed our changing world. Our HydroGreen technology for growing nutritious livestock feed was invented by Dihl Grohs for his ranches in South Dakota, Utah, and Missouri. Dihl was first inspired to develop the concept of a low-maintenance feed growing system during his time spent raising cattle in Idaho. This drought-prone area made supplying feed for cattle a challenge, exacerbated by competition from other dairies for quality feeds. With the HydroGreen technology, Dihl achieved his goal of creating a straightforward, sustainable land substitute for producing feed in a manner that preserves farm profitability.
