The Jones Engineering Polythene or Fleece layer features a hydraulic ram to allow easy loading, with shares or discs for opening and closing the furrow. Other features include adjustable depth wheels, easy maintenance, 1.5m to 2.25m wide wheelings, heavy duty robust British manufacture, guides to prevent soil being thrown onto the layed polythene, spare polythene roll carrier, adjustable tension and sprung loaded arm for easier loading. All Jones Engineering Polythene layers can be tailored to suit the customers requirements as a single bed machine or a hydraulic folding triple bed machine.

Jones Engineering front or rear mounted heavy duty Polythene Removers are hydraulic opening for easy unloading. Equipped with electro-hydraulic speed control so the removing speed can be matched to the forward speed of the tractor. They can be used offset for a straight pull for clear polythene or angled for removing black polythene from strawed over wintered crops. Jones Engineering also manufacture Fleece Removers.

The Jones Engineering Straw Remover has been designed to remove straw from overwintered crops such as Carrots and Parsnips. The Straw remover will work in all conditions removing straw from the bed and the wheelings chopping the straw and spreading it evenly on previously harvested ground.
