Flap control is by means of a mechanical adjusting facility. Daily routine maintenance is limited to the lubrication of two easily accessible grease nipples on the chopping wheel. For inspection and maintenance of the chopping wheel the complete chopping unit can pivot backwards. The KUHN weed insensitive cutting system is tolerant of weeds and has a self cleaning function.
