Watertronics has been serving the Landscape irrigation market for three decades. Watertronics pioneered the concept of a self-enclosed pumping system through our introduction of the WaterMax Series in approximately 1980, which has since been widely duplicated in the Landscape market.

In 2008, Watertronics became part of Lindsay Corporation, a Nebraska-based global manufacturer of agricultural irrigation products. Being a market leader in pump and control innovation, Watertronics was an excellent fit for Lindsay - matching water supply with water distribution… pumps with pivots. Watertronics products include not only pump stations, but advanced controls technology for high efficiency pumping that produces significant energy savings and labor savings. Today the Ag market is benefiting from advancing irrigation efficiencies, available through Lindsay’s worldwide Dealer network.

The sources of water for traditional landscape irrigation are many. They include municipal water, groundwater, and surface water; treated municipal wastewater treatment plant effluent properly treated to the standards of quality required for irrigation; and ever-increasing harvested rain, gray and storm waters. Issues confronting the landscape irrigation market range from treatment of alternate supplies to addressing iron removal in order to provide suitable quality water for any given landscape irrigation application.
