Living Optics is a company that develops hyperspectral imagers that are affordable and easy to use. Their vision is to seamlessly integrate hyperspectral imaging into the fabric of everyday life. They are dedicated to a future where hyperspectral imaging is not just a tool for the few but an asset for the many. We needed a camera to take videos of ultrafast laser plasma interactions at trillions of frames per second. The camera we needed didn’t exist, so we had to invent one. When we realized that our technology could also be used for hyperspectral imaging, we focused all our efforts on seeing the invisible.
