Mason Machinery was started in 1948 by Hilmar Mason with the Allis Chalmers line of tractors. He and his wife Reba ran the business together for many years from their garage. During that time Hilmar also ran the family’s farm. Reba would go to the farm and get Hilmar when they had a customer. Six years later Mason Machinery had outgrown the garage and Hilmar built a shop off of Highway 24 in Aurora, Utah. He and Reba continued running the business together for 30 years through the ups and downs of the agricultural industry.
In 1984 Mason Machinery constructed the building that it is currently in today. The building has been expanded twice since then to accommodate our expanding parts inventory and provide us with a service area to meet our customer’s needs. Since this time they have added NEW HOLLAND AGRICULTURE, NEW HOLLAND CONSTRUCTION,MASSEY FERGUSON, GREAT PLAINS, HUSQVARNA, AND MACDON lines to the inventory.
Allen Mason, Hilmar and Reba’s son joined the Mason Machinery team in 1985 and is currently the CEO and President of the company. Eric Mason, Allen's son and the third generation from the Mason family, joined the business in 1998. He is currently the General Manager and Vice President of the company. In spring 2011 Mason Machinery expanded their operation by opening a second location in Springville Utah. Located just off of I-15 and exit 260 Mason Machinery continues to grow in a thriving market. Mason Machinery currently has 25 employees in Aurora and 7 employees in Springville. Mason Machinery is a family owned and operated dealership that hopes to be a staple in the surrounding Utah communities for years to come.
Mason Machinery strives to be a full service agricultural dealership. Damon Averett, Cameron Hallows, Terry Morrell, and Tack Bagley will assist you with the purchase of your tractor, haying or tillage equipment, new or used. Curtis Tuttle and Tom Schmidt can assist you in our Springville location. If we don’t have what you are looking for, they will do their best to find it.
Bart Cowley is our office manager and finance specialist. He has 20 plus years in the industry and has extensive knowledge to assist you with the financing of your equipment purchase.
Our service department is run by Dusty Ross, Rachel Durfee, Debbie Christensen, Jean Egan. We have 4 technicians with fully operational service trucks to assist you with breakdowns in the field. There are also 4 technicians that work inside of the shop to get your machinery going. We have a semi truck for the delivery and pick up of your equipment. In Springville, Adam Jackson and Dillon Bown is available in the field or shop to help you with your needs.
Our parts department in Aurora is headed by Annette Bredsguard, Part Manager. Tyson Thompson is also there to help you with all your parts and precision farming/GPS applications are ready to assist you. In Springville Brett Gurr and Westin Johnson are ready to assist you as well. They will do whatever they can to get you the parts that you need.
We are very conscious of our customer's needs. In an effort to improve this we have 2 on the road CSR(Customer service relation) representatives. Ron Harward and Tack Bagley can assist you in setting up service and getting you the parts you need. they are also a the eyes and ears of our business. If you need something brought back and reported to the business please share with them your thoughts.
