One location - countless possibilities

With roundabout 65 trade fairs and exhibitions, including ten leading trade fairs, the Essen exhibition centre is among the top ten exhibition locations in Germany. An appealing mix of international, national and regional professional and consumer trade fairs attracts around 1.5 million visitors annually. MESSE ESSEN offers exhibitors the ideal environment to present their company and to establish important contacts with experts, key customers and opinion leaders.

Directly connected to the exhibition centre, the Congress Center Essen expands the event portfolio with symposiums, conferences and diverse corporate events. In addition to our flexible spatial concepts, event planners can also take advantage of the organizing expertise of our experienced team. The Grugahalle rounds out the remarkable diversity of event options in Essen. Shows with international stars, major sporting events and prominent concerts take place here.

With this extraordinary range of events and spatial flexibility, the Essen location sets the standard for event concepts.

On 2 May 2016, the remodelling in order to construct one of the most technically state-of-the-art exhibition centres in Germany has begun. We are creating a new sense of well-being on the exhibition grounds with open, functional architecture. Short distances, eight large-scale, single-storey buildings and lots of daylight will provide the ideal exhibition conditions.
