Monchiero & C. Snc
As manufacturers and distributors of quality machinery and services, we operate with expertise and professionalism in the farming and forestry sectors, combining the deep-rooted traditions of our land with the most innovative technology. Founded in 1965 to meet a growing need for automation among local farmers, further dimensions were gradually added, expanding the company’s scope. Farm machinery sales and repair were joined by the building of machines for the harvesting of fruit from the ground. The earliest models were trailed machines, but design and production of the first self-propelled machinery soon began, and today the technologically highly advanced and fully-accessorized range is capable of catering for every need that large, medium and small-sized contractors and farmers may have. From Italy to all over the world: our wide range of self-propelled harvesters has earned an excellent international reputation in the field over many years.

About us
We manufacture – and export throughout the world – ever more advanced machinery and equipment for the harvesting of fruit, capable of meeting all the demands of farmers and contractors: a complete series of self-propelled and trailed harvesters, as well as peelers, huskers and separators for chestnuts, air and brush-windrowers and blowers, sizing sieves… Furthermore, for over 20 years we have been supporting Italian forestry professionals with a vast range of harvesters, forwarders, skidders, saws and chippers. All the machines are safe and efficient, and guaranteed by the leading international brands in the industry – John Deere, Bandit, Erjo Oswab, Palax – and by timely technical support that solves any issues.
Currently Monchiero harvesters are at work all over the world, from France to Chile, and from Australia to South Africa. The forestry sector began to develop in the ‘90s, when Monchiero became the exclusive distributor in Italy for John Deere – still Timberjack at the time. Ever since, Monchiero has been expanding its range thanks to partnerships with the leading international names in the sector – such as the american Bandit brand, the Swedish chipper manufacturers Erjo, and Palax firewood processors from Finland – and today it is a secure all-round focal point for all the needs of Italian forestry professionals.
Close to our customers, always and everywhere After-sales service is particularly important in our field, and it represents a real strength for Monchiero. Our fully-trained, highly qualified technicians are always available to provide real-time solutions to customer requirements, either at our own workshop, which is equipped with the most sophisticated computerized diagnosis devices, or on site.
A rapid, professional and effective service is rounded off by a fully-stocked spares and accessories store.
Monchiero’s headquartes are designed to save energy Completed in 2009 very near the historic site in Pollenzo, the new headquarters testify to the company’s dynamism and its commitment to the environment.. It is, in fact, the first class A-certified industrial building in Piedmont: 3300 sqm of floor space, with an annual energy requirement of less than 30 kWh/sqm, compared to the required 70.
Built in keeping with state-of-the-art sustainability criteria, and with great attention paid to comfort and to environmental and operating costs, the new facility remains a rarity in its field.
Designed by Studio Roatta of Mondovì, the project avails itself of all available features for reducing energy consumption to a minimum, starting from the external insulation of the building, which is no less than 15 cm thick in the walls and 16 cm on the roof.
The underfloor heating is able to guarantee a 25-30% saving on fuel, and to avoid dispersion of heat upwards while offering greater environmental comfort. The wood-chip boiler guarantees virtually zero carbon dioxide emissions, and by using locally-produced biomass it exploits a fully-renewable energy source with a very low cost.

The air-conditioning of the offices in summer is based on a geothermal heat pump system using rainwater from natural layers in the subsoil, and the cooling of the production area is completely natural. Air is delivered via 26 diffusers distributed throughout the flooring, driven by two small fans that complete the work performed by the skylights in the roof. Kept open at night, they help recirculation, making it possible to work in better climatic conditions at an extremely low cost. A normal air conditioning system over such a huge area would be inconceivable.
