Montana Post Driver, established in 2007, began by leveraging hydraulic breakers to perfect the hydraulic post driver technology. Initially inspired by a modified jack hammer, the company has focused on engineering dedicated post drivers for various soil conditions with precision control and minimal post damage. The venture grew from experimenting with Bobcat-based solutions to creating bespoke post drivers with capacities of up to 1,500 ft-lbs, accommodating both skid steers and mini excavators. Due to increasing demand, Montana Post Driver transitioned from reselling imported breakers to directly sourcing from Arrowhead Rock Drill and later complemented their portfolio with cost-effective solutions from a Chinese manufacturer. Their technological advancements include the E series post drivers and an integrated auger attachment for efficient post installation in rocky terrains. Served by manufacturing plants in Ohio since 2015 and 2017, they continue to innovate and distribute high-performance post drivers across various regions.
