National Kwikmetal Service (NKS)

NKS started in 1989 as National Knife & Supply, a distributor of industrial knives that cut metal, paper and wood. In 1991, National Kwikmetal Service began operation with a single 18” slitter and a vision that there was a need for a stainless steel supplier that catered to customers that only required small quantities of precision slit coil. This is an idea that resonated with customers both large and small. Over time, NKS has expanded upon this idea by offering a wide variety of stainless steel products ranging from prototype quantities to full truckloads. In addition, NKS has expanded its service capabilities by offering metallurgical lab services, as well as technical support from our in-house metallurgist. NKS has also raised the standard for social responsibility in our industry by adhering to strict environmental standards of ISO 14000, as well as supporting a wide range of philanthropic causes within the community.
