The Nichols heel sweep is a revolutionary design that allows both sweeping and chiseling to be done simultaneously. This combination results in breaking up the hardpan to encourage better root penetration and absorbtion of moisture. Manufactured from 1/4" hardened steel, Heel Sweeps are available in 16" and 18" widths and will accept any 2-1/4" hole pattern chisel to mount on top. We recommend p/n HS13CP (shown in image). Heel Sweep for Chisel Plows; 1/4" x 10"; Klipped wing; 50 degree shank; two 1/2" slots on 2-1/4 - 2-1/2" centers.
