About Us
The company has a long and rich history (read about our history) and a bright future under the ownership of David and Ricky Rater. Father and son acquired the company in January, 2013.
Pearson Livestock Equipment began and is still thriving in the small town of Thedford, Nebraska in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. To keep up with demand and allow the company to spend more time focusing on new products, the father-son duo opened a new manufacturing facility in Vernon, TX in January, 2016. Both Ricky and David office in the Texas shop and travel to Thedford often.
We are thankful for the continued support of our outstanding employees. The company has prospered because of the wonderful people who build Pearson products. The products you see are a direct reflection on the work ethic and pride that comes from Pearson employees.
The Raters' vision is for Pearson Livestock Equipment to remain a family-oriented company that produces quality livestock handling equipment. The company will continue its tradition of quality while addressing the challenges of the market and the needs of customers. Plans include increasing production, additional staffing and a continuous focus on innovation.
