PIPE AG was founded by farmer and tech enthusiast Roark Thompson. Growing up on his family’s 2,000-acre farm, Roark noticed a disconnect between the different pieces of the farming process. He decided to take his love for technology and apply it to the family farm. Over the next two decades, the farm grew from 2,000 acres to 12,000 acres. The bigger the farm grew, the more complex and frustrating the technology became. Different programs and machines often weren’t compatible with each other, creating additional expenses. Meanwhile, the latest software tools weren’t always easy to learn or use. Rather than simply accept the situation, Roark decided to build a better solution. PIPE AG was born. PIPE AG is the first platform of its kind, designed to bring transparency to the harvesting process while providing real time communication to all of the people involve. With PIPE AG, you always know your combine capacity, grain cart weight, truck location, arrival times, directions, and so much more. All of this information is tracked and stored securely within the app, providing valuable data while greatly simplifying the reporting process. Despite its wealth of functions and features, it’s incredibly easy to use. We’ve seen farmers who don’t know how to use a smartphone navigate our farm management software with no issues.
