In the heart of the American Midwest, our company has been on a four-decade mission to deliver safer, more effective bulk flow technologies to the world. It all began in 1980, when company founder Gene Nelson was called on to help extinguish and clean up after a massive grain silo fire in Minneapolis. Through his experiences assisting facilities like these, Gene learned just how challenging – and potentially hazardous – working with bulk materials can be. In the endless struggle to keep bulk materials flowing, confined space entry and other risky activities threatened worker safety every day. To help address these hazards and challenges, Gene turned his problem-solving spirit and creative mechanical aptitude toward developing Pneumat’s revolutionary flagship product, the BinWhip®.
