R C Setchfield Ltd

Established in 1982 R C Setchfield Ltd is still a family owned and run business. The business is mainly focused on materials handlers and tractors with our main franchise being JCB. This is complimented by a range of well known franchises to cover the demands of todays professional farm businesses. Our workshop and parts departments provide an efficient repair and parts service, and our fully trained staff are able to meet the demands of modern machinery and the stress put upon them by modern farming methods.Starting by providing service to local farms, demand was such that natural growth lead into sales with the first powered franchise, quickly adding a full range of machinery. The company moved into materials handlers in 1994 which soon became significant product type for all departments and moved up yet a further gear in 2000 with the appointment of the JCB LANDPOWER franchise.

The company continued to go forward with a larger area and a new branch built in 2006 at Staveley near Chesterfield complimenting all areas of business done at our Grantham branch.

The sales department consists of Richard Setchfield supported by Adrian Heritage who covers the east side of the A1 and Ian Woods who covers the west side from our Grantham branch, and Steve West from our Staveley branch.

The parts department is headed by Ian Johnson at Grantham supported by Peter Hall, with Kim Lamb at our Staveley Branch.

The Service Dept is headed by Adam Forster and is historically a key to the companies success and remains a priority still today specializing more in our own products.

The slogan used many years ago was “GROWTH THROUGH SERVICE” and as product technology continues to advance the support package we provide will be essential.
